Explanation of Salvation

Am I ready to meet God?  Can I be certain that I will go to heaven when I die?  What does it mean to be saved?  The answers to all of these questions are extremely important.  Would you carefully evaluate your own life in light of the following explanation?

God has created every person to live eternally with Him.  Sadly, and tragically, mankind has sinned and forfeited this purpose of God.  God, in His love, has sent to earth His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the penalty for all the sins of every person.  It is this historic fact that must not be overlooked.  People can be ready to meet God, and be certain of spending eternity in heaven after death if they are willing to come to God on His terms.  What are God’s terms?  One must acknowledge their own sinfulness, and that they are deserving of eternal judgment from God for sin – and believe that Jesus Christ died on their behalf and then rose from the grave.  If a person is willing to turn from their sin, believe in Jesus Christ, and ask God to save them from this sin, they will immediately receive eternal life.  It is a choice that must be made by each individual.  No other human can make this choice on their behalf.

Would you ask God to save you from your sin?  This decision will prepare you to meet God, and provide assurance of heaven for you.  Read Romans 10:9-13.
